The paper concludes by analyzing the NMS approach of firms contingent on their market-maturity stage and the optimal process to arrive at the 'point-of-decision'. It then explores the theoretical influences on NMSs adoption and suggests a hands-on 7A framework to formulate effective NMSs drawing from real-world examples. This paper endeavors to provide practicing managers with a ready-reference to grasp a progressive understanding of the firm's NME, the forces that interplay as part of this ecosystem and the existing taxonomies of NMSs deployed by firms to counter them, including from an Indian perspective. We conclude our foray intoĬorporate citizenship with a discussion of these themes and a review of future perspectives.
